According to CoinMeta, and as reported by an early issuer of in, Sberbank's global head of digital assets research, Geoff Kendrick, stated that Bitcoin could approach its historical high of $126,000 before the end of the year, with a potential recovery or acceleration after October 6th. The forecast of $100,000 by the end of the year might be too low. He pointed out that the recent rise has been driven by short-selling liquidations, and the inflow of funds into Bitcoin spot ETF has resumed, with current open positions being relatively low. In February of this year, Kendrick lowered Sberbank's target for Bitcoin at the end of the year from $150,000 to $100,000, and reduced the target for Ethereum from $7,500 to $4,000, predicting that Bitcoin would fall to around $50,000 and Ethereum to around $1,400.
