This chip giant is ready to challenge DeepSeek, Kimi K3, OpenAI, and Anthropic. This move by NVIDIA means that open-weight models may offer cheaper AI, greater customization, and more corporate control over a wider range of AI adoption, which will drive demand for NVIDIA chips, networks, and software. NVIDIA is preparing to profit regardless of which AI company dominates the market. However, there is one issue: OpenAI and Anthropic are also among NVIDIA’s largest partners.
