Iran announces the discovery of a large natural gas field

According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Iranian media, Iranian Oil Minister Mohammad Javad Parvin-e-Najad announced on the 23rd that Iran has discovered a new gas field in the southern Fars province, with natural gas reserves exceeding 7.5 trillion cubic feet (about 212.4 billion cubic meters), and about 5.7 trillion cubic feet (about 161.4 billion cubic meters) of that is recoverable.
