BTC Prices Rise, Unclosed Contract Volume Calculated in Terms of Coins Drops to a One-Month Low

According to CoinMeta, as monitored by Santiment, the price of BTC rose from an average of about $63,500 from August 12 to 18 to about $77,700 on August 23. During the same period, the number of open contracts calculated in terms of the coin's own currency decreased from about 353,500 BTC to about 312,600 BTC, a decrease of about 11%, reaching the lowest level in at least a month.
