According to CoinMeta, based on early monitoring of in, the Coldcard vulnerability incident involved 8865 addresses, resulting in a total loss of 1789.28 BTC. At the time of the theft, this amounted to approximately $114.7 million, and its current value is around $138.8 million. The median loss per address was 0.00152 BTC, with an average loss of 0.20184 BTC. In 221 victim reports, the median loss was 1.04272 BTC, and the average loss was 3.57792 BTC; victims reported a total loss of 790.72 BTC. If losses with moderate confidence levels are also taken into account, the total loss would reach 1824 BTC, valued at approximately $140 million based on the price at the time of the loss.
