According to CoinMeta, Iran has stated that it has added 45 oil tankers that violated its regulations for passage through the Strait of Hormuz to a blacklist and will take action against any vessels that transfer goods with these tankers. Six months after the outbreak of war, Iran has further escalated its threats against this vital waterway. According to a statement released on Sunday evening by the newly established Persian Gulf Straits Authority, which is responsible for managing the Strait of Hormuz, these named oil tankers may face fines, seizure, and confiscation of their cargo.
