According to CoinMeta, long-term Bitcoin core contributor Jon Atack stated while dining at a Bitcoin beach in El Salvador ( El Zonte ) that the adoption rate of Bitcoin payments is declining. He mentioned that, having lived in the region since 2022, he was informed that this was the first time he had used Bitcoin for payment in a month, which made him feel "quite disappointed."
