Bitcoin falls below $80,000 mark, gold also tumbles in tandem

According to CoinMeta, as reported by A in an early issuance on in 2021, Bitcoin soared to $81,265 on Tuesday before pulling back, briefly falling to $78,111 and dropping below the $80,000 mark. Gold also weakened, with spot gold prices falling near 2% to $4,605 per ounce, after previously reaching $4,697. During the decline in U.S. Treasury yields, the S&P 500 index rose 0.2%, the Nasdaq index rose 0.5%, and the yield on 30-year U.S. Treasury bonds fell below 5.2%. The market expects a 61.9% probability that the Federal Reserve will maintain interest rates unchanged in September, with attention shifting to July PCE inflation data in the United States and NVIDIA's financial report.
