According to CoinMeta, the latest data from the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) shows that nearly 50,000 immigrants were arrested in July, setting a new record for the highest number of arrests in a single month since Trump's second term. The data indicates that ICE arrested 49,571 people in July, which is an increase of about 15% compared to 43,021 in June and about 70% compared to 29,241 in February. The relevant government data was provided to the University of California, Berkeley by ICE. Since Trump returned to the White House in January last year, he has intensified efforts to combat illegal immigration, and ICE has launched law enforcement operations against illegal immigrants in several major cities across the United States.
