According to CoinMeta, South Korean trading giant POSCO announced that it will put $22 billion worth of real trade accounts receivable onto the Avalanche blockchain, where they will be converted after verification by artificial intelligence. The company uses AI to verify invoices, purchase orders, credit notes, and transportation documents, and then converts these accounts receivable into digital assets on the blockchain. This is its second blockchain pilot project in a month; previously, in July, it tested the tokenization of accounts receivable with LG CNS. POSCO plans to explore cross-border settlements based on stablecoins.
