According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Reuters, most economists believe that the Bank of Japan will take action sooner than previously anticipated, raising interest rates again in September, and that the final interest rate level may also be higher. A survey shows that 57% of economists expect the Bank of Japan to raise interest rates next month, a significant increase from just 5% in July. Ayako Fujita, JPMorgan Chase's chief economist for Japan, stated that delaying this interest rate hike is likely to lead to market turmoil, and it has become inevitable to adjust policies in advance. Looking ahead to beyond this year, nearly two-thirds of analysts predict that policy rates will reach at least 1.5% by the end of March next year. In addition, more than two-thirds of respondents said that recent joint foreign exchange interventions by the US and Japan have been "not very effective" or "completely ineffective."
