According to CoinMeta, Moon’s Dark Side is in talks with Microsoft, Amazon, and Google regarding revenue-sharing agreements, with the intention of allowing these three major American cloud computing giants to host its models. Sources indicate that Moon’s Dark Side seeks to receive up to 30% of the revenue generated from services related to its models on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud, which are essentially the same terms it offers to large customers using its open-weight model. Currently, Moon’s Dark Side has already signed similar agreements with some smaller cloud platforms. If the negotiations are successful, this agreement could become the first significant model revenue-sharing collaboration between Chinese companies and major American cloud computing firms. Meanwhile, Alibaba is also seeking to establish a revenue-sharing mechanism with the main users of its new open-source model.
