According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Yonhap News, Park Hyun-joo, the chairman of Future Asset Group, stated that they will make their cryptocurrency trading platform digital x the core pillar of "Future Asset 3.0." Leveraging the group's customer assets of over 1.500 trillion Korean won, the initial goal is to expand the digital asset business to 150 trillion Korean won, with the aim of achieving profitability by 2027. Future Asset plans to expand its product offerings in four main areas: cryptocurrency assets, stablecoins, RWA, and STO. The group also aims to promote the digitization of assets such as gold, silver, and electricity, as well as develop blockchain-based financial services. digital x was formerly known as the Korean cryptocurrency exchange Korbit; Future Asset Group acquired 97.15% of its shares and subsequently renamed it.
