According to CoinMeta, Frostsnap released version v0.4.0 on August 27th, fixing two security vulnerabilities. No user funds have been lost so far. Vulnerability fsa-2026-001 involved malicious signature requests, while vulnerability fsa-2026-002 concerned a refund address that was outside the recovery scan range. After the update, the application prompted users to upgrade their device firmware and added new firmware downgrade protection measures. The team recommends that users update both the application and firmware as soon as possible.
