TRM Labs is a blockchain intelligence company that is expected to track over $103 billion in total crypto crimes by 2025. Ann Ziqing will collaborate with regulatory agencies, policymakers, law enforcement organizations, and private institutions in the Asia-Pacific region to focus on combating illegal financial networks and policy responses. Her appointment comes at a time when criminal gangs in the region are increasingly using cryptocurrencies for investment fraud and other fraudulent activities. Data from TRM shows that the adjusted total amount of crypto crimes has risen from approximately $123 million in 2020 to over $103 billion in 2025, with investment fraud accounting for 62% of last year's total.
