According to CoinMeta, Nvidia Chief Financial Officer Colette Kress stated that Apple (AAPL) investors have once again been reminded that Apple's profit prospects are facing challenges due to the soaring prices of memory chips. In Apple's financial report released at the end of July, the company took a cautious attitude towards its revenue forecasts for the current quarter, mainly because it was unable to obtain enough memory chips to meet demand. Apple CEO Tim Cook expects this issue to continue. Due to the increase in memory chip prices, Apple's profit margin has also come under significant pressure in the most recent quarter. Cook said during the financial report conference call, "In terms of prices, we had no choice but to raise them reluctantly, as we are in the midst of a century-long flood of memory prices, with prices rising exponentially."
