According to CoinMeta, in Iran, the price of 1 US dollar has currently reached 2 million rials due to the local currency depreciating to a historical low. The United States' sanctions against Iran have exacerbated the economic crisis, leading to soaring prices of daily necessities and causing hardship for the people. According to reports from NDTV, before the war, 2 million rials could buy 4 kilograms of tomatoes, half a kilogram of chicken, and less than one liter of cooking oil. However, since the outbreak of the war, the purchasing power has significantly declined, with tomato prices rising by 71%, chicken prices by 74%, and cooking oil prices by 177%.
