According to CoinMeta, Google's Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash is a new version that was unveiled in May and opened for public testing at the end of June. The new version still allows for videos up to 10 seconds in length per generation. For the first time, a video continuation feature has been added to Omni API; users can continue filming after the initial generation, with each continuation lasting up to 10 seconds, allowing the total video length to reach up to 40 seconds. In addition, Omni 1.1 also includes new controls for the start and end frames. Users can provide start and end images, and the model will automatically generate the middle portion of the video. The new version also introduces a cheaper 360p draft mode, with system throughput increased by 60%. The cost of this mode is about one-third of that of 720p, and after completing the draft, the video can be scaled up to 1080p or 4k.
