U.S. employment growth revised down, signs of a cooling labor market are evident

According to CoinMeta, in the year up to March, employment growth in the United States was more modest than previously reported data, highlighting a downward trend in the labor market. This is also one of the reasons why the Federal Reserve is still considering interest rate cuts in 2025 despite ongoing inflation. According to preliminary benchmark revised data released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday, non-farm employment may have decreased by 79,000 people, representing a decline of 0.1%. The final data will be released at the beginning of next year.
