Darkfost: Exchange inflows surge as Bitcoin tests $80,000
2026-08-30 00:01:59
According to CoinMeta, based on the monitoring of early in releases, analyst Darkfost from CryptoQuant stated that the inflow of Bitcoin into exchanges has surged over the past 7 days, reaching a peak when the price attempted to break through $80,000 at BTC. Binance led the way with an average daily inflow of 10,700 BTC, followed by Coinbase Advanced with an average of 7,100 BTC per day, while Kraken and OKX both exceeded 2,000 BTC each. The $80,000 mark represents the average cost basis for all capital invested in BTC, and it is a key level for breaking even. Many investors choose to lock in small profits or set stop-losses at this level. As the price of BTC adjusts downward, the selling pressure is weakening. If the selling pressure continues to diminish, Bitcoin may soon test this resistance level again.
