According to CoinMeta, Qatar's Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held a telephone conversation with Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu to discuss efforts to cool down the situation and strengthen regional security and stability. The Qatar Foreign Ministry stated that both sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries and reiterated their support for all diplomatic efforts aimed at reaching a solution to ensure freedom of maritime navigation and to facilitate agreements for lasting regional peace.
