OpenAI to Cease Providing Model Services to Musk's Platforms
2026-08-30 10:13:51
According to CoinMeta, the Open Artificial Intelligence Research Center in the United States announced plans to cease providing services to the AI programming platform “Cursor” under SpaceX, a company owned by Elon Musk. The scheduled termination date is November 12, 2026. The center stated that this decision was based on “past experience,” as several of Musk’s companies have previously breached their agreements, and there is no assurance that they will use the technology within the terms of service. In response, Musk tweeted that he “doesn’t care at all” about this move and accused Altman, the CEO of SpaceX, and Brockman, the president, of being “completely untrustworthy and having stolen an open-source non-profit organization.”
