According to CoinMeta, Wu said that bitcoin mining pool Ocean and co-founder Luke Dashjr issued a joint statement stating that after consultation, they decided to separate. Luke Dashjr has resigned from the position of chairman and director, while CTO and Ocean have simultaneously repurchased all of his shares. Both parties mentioned that this separation stems from different visions for the future direction of bitcoin mining following recent changes to the agreement. Luke Dashjr will establish a new project Convoy, while Ocean will continue to operate its non-managed mining pool business.
