Serenity: OpenAI and Anthropic make extensive use of Apple Mac devices; Apple unexpectedly becomes a beneficiary of AI infrastructure

According to CoinMeta, Serenity stated that OpenAI is hoarding tens of thousands of Apple Mac mini and Mac Studio devices for use in reinforcement learning. Anthropic is renting Apple Mac mini devices from Amazon to perform similar AI tasks. Serenity joked that Apple seems to have "done nothing, yet unexpectedly became a big winner of the AI craze." In addition, on August 27th, Anthropic collaborated with Raspberry Pi to launch a new model hardware standard. There is currently no information indicating that Anthropic or OpenAI is purchasing Raspberry Pi devices for similar tasks.
