According to CoinMeta, the U.S. government sold the Anthropic shares that were confiscated from Caroline Ellison and Nishad Singh. These individuals had invested $10 million and $40 million respectively in the Anthropic financing. Based on a valuation of $965 million for Anthropic, the value of their shares is estimated to be between $417 million and $503 million. If the company were to go public at a valuation of $2 billion, the value of their shares would be around $544 million. The amount obtained from the government's sale is currently between $250 million and $110 million and has not yet been transferred into the bankruptcy property management system for FTX. Representatives of the victims of FTX are demanding that the government use the funds for compensation on behalf of Sunil Kavuri, while the U.S. Department of Justice stated that providing compensation to the victims is a priority.
