According to CoinMeta, Bitcoin's performance in August 2026 is expected to be the best in nine years, successfully reversing a multi-quarter downward trend. Based on historical performance, the return rate of Bitcoin in the third quarter of 2026 ( Q3 ) is currently 32.48%, which seems to have ended the bear market trend that dominated the first half of the year. Bitcoin suffered consecutive quarterly losses of 22.2% and 14.09% in the first and second quarters, respectively. The US spot Bitcoin ETF recorded $1.92 billion in capital inflows during this period, the largest weekly total since October 2025. The US Treasury Department's recent decision to double the scale of long-term bond repurchases is considered the main catalyst for this rebound.
