According to CoinMeta, Chainalysis has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. government, accusing the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) of manipulating a blockchain contract worth $95 million. Chainalysis pointed out that ICE tailored its requirements specifically for competitor TRM Labs's existing products and relationships, leaving little time for the competitor to prove that they could meet the agency's needs. This $94.66 million contract is considered the largest blockchain analysis contract awarded by the U.S. government. The company claims that ICE ultimately rejected their bid based on undisclosed criteria and is now seeking in federal court to stop the TRM contract, demanding a fully open competition.
