According to CoinMeta, Intel CEO Lip provided a rationale of $12 million for investing in Intel stocks at the beginning of August. Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) successfully raised $23 billion in equity financing that month, with an issue price of $95 per share, far exceeding the initial target of $15 billion. Tan individuals also participated in this financing, purchasing shares worth $12 million. Intel's Chief Financial Officer David Zinsner stated during the July earnings conference call that Intel would not raise additional funds if it could not attract sufficient demand. On August 26th, at the Deutsche Bank Technology Conference, Zinsner further elaborated on the use of the new funds, indicating that Intel would focus on expanding the production capacity of its existing factories in Ireland and Arizona, and plans to build new factories in Ohio. It is expected that these new factories will significantly enhance Intel's production capacity, with revenues expected to approach $200 billion in the coming years.
