According to CoinMeta, based on Polymarket data, the probability of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates by 25 basis points in September has risen to 52%, an increase of 20% in just one week. The market is focused on the U.S. non-farm payroll report for August, which will be released on September 4th ( UTC +8). Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh stated at the Jackson Hole Global Central Banks Symposium that if the Fed cannot be confident that underlying inflation is declining “clearly and at a fast enough pace” towards the 2% target, then raising interest rates is still under consideration.
