According to CoinMeta, Wu said that Alpaca indicates that they will integrate the predictive market into their global brokerage infrastructure through cooperation with Kalshi, and provide CFTC-regulated event contracts via their existing technical systems for stocks, options, fixed income, and crypto assets. Alpaca has previously been registered as a futures broker with CFTC (FCM), and its subsidiary Alpaca Derivatives LLC is a member of NFA, but has not yet officially commenced regulated FCM business. Alpaca also provides US stock trading infrastructure for platforms such as Binance and is involved in the underlying securities custody for Coinbase tokenized stocks.
