According to CoinMeta, prices in British shops rose at the fastest rate in over two years last month, highlighting the impact of conflicts in the Middle East beginning to affect supermarket shelves. The British Retailers Association stated that in August, shop product prices increased by 1.5% year-on-year, with food prices rising by 2.8%, a higher increase than the previous month.
