According to CoinMeta, as reported by bitcoin.com and news, Binance saw $15.7 billion in inflows in August 2026, setting a monthly record and accounting for over 75% of all inflows into centralized exchanges. During the same period, the price of Bitcoin rose by more than 20%, breaking through $80,000, which drove an increase in trading volume on the exchange. Binance Research noted that $15.7 billion is approximately 8.4 times that of the second-largest exchange with positive inflows. Bybit and OKX are among the three exchanges with the highest liquidity. Inflows into smaller platforms were more dispersed. Additionally, Binance is facing accusations in the EU of accepting local users without obtaining a license under the Crypto Assets Market Regulation Act (MiCA).
