According to CoinMeta, Abdunnasser Hemati, the governor of Iran's Central Bank, stated on September 1 that despite U.S. sanctions, Iran still has sufficient foreign exchange reserves. Iran's Tasnim news agency reported Hemati's remarks, stating that the Central Bank is prepared to inject $2 billion into the foreign exchange market to stabilize recent fluctuations. Hemati emphasized that although Iran is facing difficulties, its economy has never collapsed and will not collapse in the future.
