According to CoinMeta, recently, US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen emphasized the importance of formulating and communicating monetary policies during a meeting with Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda in order to stabilize inflation expectations. She also expressed strong support for the decisive market and monetary measures taken by Japan in response to the significant undervaluation of the yen, and pointed out the role that the yen's depreciation has played in domestic inflationary pressures in Japan.
