According to CoinMeta, Archer-Daniels-Midland ( ADM ) announced during its financial report conference call on August 4 that it will expand four oilseed pressing plants in the United States, with an investment of about $100 million. These plants are located in Frankfurt, Indiana; Delphield, Missouri; Lincoln, Nebraska; and Spiritwood, North Dakota, where the latter is a joint venture with Marathon Petroleum Company. It is expected that by 2028 or 2029, these expansions will increase the pressing capacity by approximately 700,000 metric tons. ADM recently reported adjusted earnings per share for the second quarter of $1.84, far exceeding analysts' expectations of $1.44, and raised its guidance for adjusted earnings per share for 2026 to $5.15 to $5.60.
