Bitdeer Acquires Land in Texas for Approximately $100 Million to Build a AI Data Center

According to CoinMeta, Bitdeer ( NASDAQ : BTDR ) acquired approximately 200 acres of land in Texas, USA, for about $100 million in cash. This plot of land is adjacent to its existing Rockdale facility and is planned to be used for the construction of AI and high-performance computing (HPC ) data centers, while maintaining the existing Bitcoin mining business. After the transaction is completed, Bitdeer will hold about 255 acres of land in Milam County, with an existing connected power capacity of about 563 MW. The planned total capacity will increase to 742 MW. With this project included, the company's global operational and development power capacity pipeline will be approximately 3.0 GW.
