According to CoinMeta, as reported by Unchained, Andy Ross, the head of Kalshi, revealed in a podcast that Kalshi submitted an application to regulatory authorities on Monday, intending to launch foreign exchange (FX) and interest rate perpetual futures contracts. Previously, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) of the United States approved the launch of Bitcoin perpetual contracts (Kalshi), the first domestically regulated perpetual contract in the country, at the end of May. Subsequently, it has progressed with the registration of perpetual contracts for Ethereum, XRP, precious metals, and major U.S. stock market indices. Andy Ross pointed out that, relying on this regulated framework, Kalshi will impose strict restrictions on leverage limits to prevent retail investors from facing margin calls, and both retail and institutional investors will be able to participate in order book trading.
