According to CoinMeta, the affiliated organization of Fairshake supported the incumbent representative Jake Auchincloss in the primary elections for the Fourth Congressional District of Massachusetts, spending $189,527.60. According to unofficial results, Auchincloss won 72.3% of the votes, defeating the Democratic challenger Jason Poulos. This victory brings the incumbent one step closer to securing a fourth term in Congress. With the increasing participation of the crypto industry in the 2026 U.S. elections, the expenditures of Fairshake have drawn attention. Poulos criticized these expenditures, claiming that some of the funds were used for “spam generated by AI.” The funds did not go directly to Auchincloss or their campaign team. Fairshake had already spent over 8 million dollars in previous congressional primaries, mainly supporting Democratic candidates.
