Coinbase Launches Regulated Crypto Derivatives in Canada via CFM

According to CoinMeta, as reported on the official blog of Coinbase, Coinbase has launched regulated derivative contracts through its subsidiary Coinbase Financial Markets ( CFM ) for qualified Canadian traders, becoming the first major cryptocurrency platform to offer native crypto futures in Canada. The products include 23 types of perpetual and regular futures such as Bitcoin, ETH, SOL, as well as 5 types of commodity futures including gold, silver, and oil, and Coin50 index futures, with support for up to 10x leverage. All contracts are provided by CFTC registered futures brokers CFM, and the temporary handling fee is 0.02% per transaction plus $0.11 per contract.
