European natural gas prices rise by 25%, while US prices fall due to record production

According to CoinMeta, natural gas prices in Europe have approached 74 euros due to tensions in Iran and low inventories that have exacerbated supply shortages, while natural gas prices in the United States have fallen to 2.86 dollars per million British thermal units. Record domestic production has kept U.S. market prices relatively low. European natural gas prices have risen by about 25% in the past month, whereas the U.S. natural gas market has shown the opposite trend. It is expected that European natural gas inventories will fall below 20% of the five-year average before winter, and due to disruptions in Middle Eastern supplies, the ability of the United States to export liquefied natural gas has become increasingly important.
