Palo Alto Networks Acquires AI Agent Startup Console for $500 Million

According to CoinMeta, as reported by TechCrunch, Palo Alto Networks has announced the acquisition of startup Console for $500 million in cash plus stock. Console was founded in 2024 and utilizes AI Agent to automatically perform tasks such as password resets, application permission activations, and daily IT troubleshooting. Its clients include Ramp, Flock Safety, and Scale AI. Palo Alto Networks plans to integrate Console into its AI-powered security platform Cortex, enabling the security team to investigate and handle security alerts through natural language. This is the seventh acquisition completed by Palo Alto Networks this year; the company has previously acquired Chronosphere for $335 million and a cybersecurity startup Koi for $400 million.
