Bitcoin breaks through $80,000, aiming for $83,450
2026-09-04 00:28:05
According to CoinMeta, the price of Bitcoin (BTC) broke through $80,000 on September 3 and is currently trading at around $80,840, up about 4.5% from the opening price of $77,340 on that day. Analysts noted that Bitcoin is testing a breakout of a descending wedge pattern, and if buyers can hold onto this breakthrough, $83,450 will be the next level of interest. Federal Reserve official Christopher Waller stated that if inflation data confirms a relief in price pressures, he tends to keep interest rates unchanged at the meeting on September 15-16. The market responded positively to this, and a weaker dollar provided a more favorable environment for Bitcoin.
