According to CoinMeta, as Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller stated, the cooling of inflation in August may prompt him to support keeping interest rates unchanged, and the probability of a rate hike in September has dropped to 38%. Waller pointed out in his public speech on September 3 that his decision will highly depend on the upcoming inflation report. It is expected that new employment reports and inflation data will be released before the Federal Open Market Committee meeting on September 15-16. Waller stated that if inflation continues to move towards the 2% target, he is willing to support maintaining the current policy rate between 3.50% and 3.75%.
