According to CoinMeta, OpenAI has released GPT-6 Astra, which is a new generation of flagship model designed for computer operations and long-term tasks. This model is capable of independently operating web pages and software, completing tasks such as searching for information, filling out forms, and writing code. OpenAI calls it "the smartest and most aligned model in the world." Official evaluations show that Astra scored 97.6% in FrontierMath Tier and achieved 99.9% in ARC-AGI-3 verification tests with its context management mechanism. In terms of computer operations, OSWorld's score increased from 65.7% to 72.6%, and the time required to complete simulation tasks was reduced to 40 minutes. The president of OpenAI, Greg Brockman, stated that in the future, people may regard Astra as a starting point for AGI. Astra is also the first model from OpenAI to reach the critical threshold of network security capabilities; during testing, two unknown zero-day vulnerabilities were identified and exploited. The first batch will be made available to a limited number of organizations, with Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, API, and AWS being made available in the coming days.
