According to CoinMeta, Standard Chartered Bank has announced that it has become the first major global bank to offer direct trading of Bitcoin and Ethereum in the United Arab Emirates. Institutional clients can now buy and sell Bitcoin and Ethereum through the platform they use for foreign exchange transactions, with settlements made through the custodian institutions chosen by the clients.
