Argo Blockchain CEO Justin Nolan stepped down on August 30; seeking a successor with technical background in AI

According to CoinMeta, Wu said that he learned that the crypto mining company Argo Blockchain submitted a 6-K filing to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) stating that Justin Nolan, who also serves as an executive director of CEO, resigned on August 30, 2026. The company is looking for a successor with a background in data centers and AI technology. During the transition period, the existing management team will be responsible for operations under the supervision of the board of directors. According to the resignation agreement, Nolan may receive a one-time payment of $250,000 in cash. The company stated that it will pursue diversification of its digital mining business towards high-performance computing (HPC) and AI digital infrastructure.
