According to CoinMeta, the Dutch Central Bank confirmed on Wednesday that it transferred 86 tons of gold from the United States due to "increasing geopolitical tensions." This gold was moved from the US and Canada to London, with the Dutch Central Bank emphasizing that trading in London is more convenient. The total amount of gold reserves in the Netherlands is 612.4 tons, valued at approximately $84 billion. This transfer was carried out in part through a combination of buying and selling, as well as physical transportation, in order to diversify the risks associated with such large-scale gold transfers.
