CoinMeta data: According to The Astana Times, Kazakhstani Deputy Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Gizzat Baitursynov stated at a government meeting on September 15 that the trading volume of the country's regulated crypto market is expected to increase from $320 million in 2023 to $10.58 billion by 2025, which is approximately 33 times that of two years ago. The number of users is also expected to rise from 53,000 to 215,000 during the same period. Since 2022, the country has been conducting pilots with the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC) and financial regulatory authorities to gradually establish a licensing and operational framework for crypto exchanges. In addition, the head of Solana Superteam KZ mentioned that over the past year, more than 8,000 people have received training related to the Solana ecosystem, with over 2,000 of them obtaining certifications. Kazakhstan has entered the top ten globally in terms of the number of applications for the Solana international hackathon, and another 57 local startups have received a total of 121 million tenge (about $262,000) in funding.
