According to CoinMeta, Breed VC has raised $15 million for its second crypto fund, with contributors including FalconX, Hutt Capital, Arrington Capital, as well as Nic Carter from Castle Island Ventures, Rob Hadick from Dragonfly, and Jake Brukhman from CoinFund. The fund primarily invests in crypto startups at the “day zero”, pre-seed , and seed stages, with individual investments ranging from $250,000 to $750,000. It focuses on open financial infrastructure and decentralized AI and plans to complete its deployment within the next 3 to 4 years. Breed VC's first fund was launched in 2023 and has already completed its investments; the portfolio includes Monad, Ethena, Agora, MyPrize, and Nous Research, among others.
