CoinMeta data: Wu Shuo has learned that a researcher on the blockchain, Emmett Gallic, has reported in a monitoring post that an ancient whale account, BitMEX, will transfer 2,000 BTC (approximately $172 million) to the digital asset financial service provider Galaxy Digital today. This whale account withdrew 32,000 BTC (worth about $3 billion at the time) from BitMEX in November 2025, which was equivalent to 65% of that platform's total reserves at that time. Since then, this account has cumulatively topped up mainstream institutional service platforms, including BitGo and Galaxy Digital, with 8,000 BTC.
